I had never seen the Hellboy movies (and I’m also not familiar with the comics, sorry), so I watched them recently and I loved them! I really wish more movies would get creative with prosthetics/costumes/makeup/animatronics! It is such a rare treat to see some things that aren’t CG in movies these days.
